Talks have come to a standstill.

Why? Unite union, 100 Stagecoach bus drivers from the Kettering depot looking for a 22.2 per cent pay raise bringing hourly wage to £11 per hour. Northampton bus drivers earn £9.82 . Bedford bus drivers earn £9.67.

Stagecoach managing director Tony Cox say's:-Drivers have been offered a 1.8 percent raise bringing hourly wage to £9.17 (same as Corby bus drivers) per hour and service will not be affected as Stagecoach is bringing bus drivers in from else where.
