What's your plan B?
August 16, 2013 Governments turn to win. Court of Appeals over rules strike action by RMT union workers. Union will continue with go slow.
August 6, Strike is still going on, add to this rail construction. Better have your plans down to the airport. EMT trying to go though the courts.
Update:-July 29, 2013 Cancellations and delays have been taking place. EMT now taking union to court, looking for an injunction. Still no overtime taking place. Network is also suffering from driver shortages.
Whose striking? Train Managers, Senior Conductors, Customer Hosts and Station/Clerical/Retail.
When:-RMT members to take industrial action short of a strike from 00:01 on Saturday 20th July 2013 until further notice.
Go slow consisting of the following:
1. Not to work any overtime
2. Not to work any rest days
3. Not to perform any additional duties outside your job description and terms and conditions of employment.
4. Only to work agreed rostered hours and rostered turns of duty only.
Why? Old unresolved issues.
What's going to happen to me?
Not sure yet. But by the following day, Sunday you will feel it. Monday, you better have your plan B ready to get to work. We will be updating.
