Update:-19 December talks going well strike cancelled.
Conductors, managers and food staff to strike Friday December 21, 2012 for 24 hours. Meeting to take place
on the 18th. CrossCountry has notice up. Have a plan B to get to the airport!

17 Feb. Arriva strike scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled due to anti-trade union laws.
1/26/11 Here we go again, Arriva Trains Wales will strike Friday, February 4.

1/12/11 Arriva rail strike. Arriva Trains Wales will strike Wednesday, 19, January again 24 hour walk out.
Arriva trains for Wales will strike, .00.01 on the 27th December 2010 and 23.59 on the 27th December 2010. Same as the Northern line.

Arriva train drivers lowest paid in the UK. Arriva is now owned by German state rail operator Deutsche Bahn. Figure out now how you are going to get to and from your airport. Overflow of passengers is going to have to go some where.

13 August, 09 RMT announced tonight that it had suspended a month-long programme of industrial action that has affected services on the Arriva CrossCountry rail route after the union received a new offer.

Railway workers start month of industrial action. Ban on overtime and refusing to pick litter up from trains and non-rostered Sunday working. Affects train managers and catering staff. Action is aimed at forcing the company back to the table to negotiate a fair deal for all staff.
A spokesman said: "We are prepared to consider demands to raise pay over and above the agreed pay rate implemented in April 2009 if the RMT can agree on changes in working arrangements that will fund the increases.
Aslef announced yesterday it was to set up a hardship fund to support drivers facing financial difficulties because of the industrial action over its dispute with National Express East Anglia.
