11/19/09 BUCHAREST, Romania Subway workers must return to their jobs Today, after a court ruled their strike is illegal Wednesday.
Strike threat for Wednesday 11/18. Not official yet, but perhaps railway will join strike. Metrorex striking today 4am-4pm and everyday indefinitely. Extra buses and trams have been put on to shuffle the 600,000 commuters. Bucharest courts will rule today on the legitimacy of the strike.
Monday,11/16/09 PM Yes, strike is going ahead. No agreement made between all parties involved. Buses are full and streets jammed.
