3/10/08 Big Sky Airlines is grounded. Pilots coordinated their takeoffs at Havre, Glasgow and Sidney to arrive at the same time — a tribute to the airline's tenure serving Montana. The planes did a flyby past Billings Logan International Airport at 7:35 a.m., circled and landed a few minutes behind schedule. An earlier flight out of Sidney landed on time at about 6:30 a.m. sad day.

12/21/07 Big Sky Airlines as the final flights touched down Saturday morning in Billings. The move came after financial troubles, forced the company to shut down all operations. "It was a pretty gratifying moment, just watching how many people were there to watch the last flight come in" commented Rawlings.
